Hello everyone! I'm Justin and I run Technically, a resource for helping people get more technical and learn about software engineering. I get tons of questions about different databases – why do we need a special database for logging? Why is my engineering lead telling me we need to push out the launch to get the data warehouse ready? – so I put my answers together in an easily digestible...

Hello ProductHunt community! I’m Justin and I’m excited to introduce Sym. If you’re a developer who has struggled with how to handle access to your infrastructure…read on. If I say “your infrastructure needs to be secure” nobody would disagree. But how that actually works is a lot less simple. There’s a good chance you’ve got multiple developers with free reign in AWS IAM. Access tends to be...
SymSecure your production infrastructure without slowing down
Sym helps developers secure infrastructure and maintain velocity. You get everything you need to implement just-in-time access for your team: a Terraform provider for defining roles, a workflow engine in Python, and a simple Slack UI for requests.

Have been using Warp for a few months as my daily driver and it's great. Hella fast, and I find myself copying inputs/outputs all the time

I was sick and tired of having a "growth mindset" and "taking feedback well." I was burning out - Philz coffee started to lose taste. I ran out of Naval podcasts. My Barry's class shut down because of the virus. I was in a dark spot. What I needed was someone who would just tell me that I'm doing a good job. Thankfully, I came across @proudmomofaceo's newsletter. Now, I get encouraging messages...

Machine Learning can do more than just make people money! Digital art and music have been quickly evolving over the past few decades, and Google has a new framework out to help you generate AI-based creations. Some of the demos are hauntingly beautiful, and some are just...haunting.

Seen a few startups trying to start this, but I guess it was only a matter of time before the big players made it a feature. The real question is – will users like this more or less?

In all seriousness, it's really important to focus and return to products that didn't succeed, and try to learn what we can. Great initiative!

We knew this was coming, and apropos that it's a day after Disney's announcement. It's really funny that at first the internet enabled video unbundling (which was good), but as these singular "channels" grow the bundle will eventually make sense again.
