Coda might have hit the sweet spot between simple todo-list apps and over-complicated project management apps. I don't think it will replace Excel for what Excel was supposed to be for (financial spreadsheets, et al.) but it could be a serious contender for all the things Excel was never really meant to do (project tracking, todo lists, etc.) No matter how clever, every other productivity tool...
