Hi Product Hunters

I m Jeroen, based near Antwerp, Belgium, with a background in resale, auctions, e-commerce and business development.

Together with my technical co-founder, we're building ValuAid: an app that helps people identify an object from a photo, explore what it could be worth and, eventually, make a better-informed decision about what to do with it.

The idea came from repeatedly seeing how difficult it can be to understand an unfamiliar object, whether you re a reseller, browsing a flea market, clearing out a home, have inherited something, or are simply curious about an item you own.
