I'm a dad of two daughters in New York City. I was a violinist, then a journalist, now an educator. By day I'm Director of Teaching and Learning at CUNY's Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. Over the past 15 years at the City University of NY I've worked with hundreds of journalists around the world to help them develop their own niche journalism ventures. A former Time Magazine reporter, I now write Wonder Tools, a weekly newsletter that helps more than 80,000 global subscribers discover the most useful tools for creative productivity. I love exploring new tools and learning and sharing new ways to be productive, creative, and helpful.

Do you use AI-powered software to record meeting notes? If so, what do you use?

I've tried using tools that automatically take notes during my Zoom/Google Meet calls, but none of them have stuck. A full transcription is overkill and summaries often miss the most important points. Additional context: Most of my calls are fundraising-related conversations with founders. I would prefer NOT to have a "bot" join a call and ideally the notes could automatically be shared in a specific Slack channel with my team. I'm curious what tools people are using and for what use cases. I'd appreciate any recommendations. :)

How do you grow your newsletter? 👀

Hey Product Hunters! Recently I launched a newsletter with weekly marketing case studies from profitable Solopreneurs (https://makerbox.ck.page/marketi...). Last week, I tried content repurposing and got around 50 new subscribers: autoplug on Twitter next issue teaser on Twitter repurposing content on Product Hunt discussions repurposing content on Indie Hackers To be honest, kinda dissatisfied with the growth. I thought I could grow at least +100 So, how do you promote your newsletter?
