React Server Components vs traditional client side rendering

I ve been comparing the workflow of using React Server Components with a more traditional client rendered React setup. Server Components can reduce the amount of JavaScript sent to the browser, but they also change how I think about data fetching and component boundaries. For people building production apps, which approach has fit your workflow better and what tradeoffs have you noticed?

How do you stop your product or service from becoming bloated?

Clients always ask for "just one more thing" in a project scope an extra report, another revision, or an additional strategy call. If you keep saying yes, your core service loses focus and efficiency.

It's tempting to add more to justify a higher price, but usually, less is more.

And I assume it s similarly tricky for software builders. Users constantly request new settings, integrations, and custom options. But adding every requested feature turns a clean tool into a complex, confusing mess.

How do you decide when to say "no" to feature requests to protect simplicity?

How do you test demand without spending money on a custom site?

Spent a few weeks building a basic prototype and now facing the usual dilemma do I set up clean domain infrastructure and company emails first, or just share a raw link on socials to see if anyone cares?

It s way too easy to spend 3 days picking colors and tweaking landing pages instead of getting real feedback.

For those who launch frequently: what is the bare minimum setup you launch with on Day 1?
