What's great
Meerath brings something that’s been missing for years — a simple, secure, and culturally aware way for families to manage their digital and financial legacy.
It’s more than a will-maker. It helps you map assets, organize key documents, assign family members, and even store personal legacy messages — all in one encrypted, user-friendly space.
What makes it special is its inclusivity. Meerath supports people across different jurisdictions and cultures, making inheritance planning something everyone can do, not just the wealthy or tech-savvy.
What needs improvement
We’re already planning several upgrades that will take Meerath to the next level:
AI assistance for smarter will creation and estate simulations
Inheritance tax estimation tools to help families understand exposure and optimize planning
Probate lawyer and notary integrations for faster, guided execution
Automatic asset revaluation (e.g., real estate, crypto, portfolios) synced with live market data
Advanced collaboration features for family members and advisors
Each of these will bring us closer to our vision — making legacy planning not only secure, but truly intelligent and effortless.
vs Alternatives
We created Meerath because existing legacy and estate planning tools felt either too exclusive (built only for high-net-worth individuals) or too fragmented (no single place for wills, assets, and family roles).
Meerath stands out because it combines everything families need — in one secure, intuitive platform:
A guided will creation wizard that adapts to different jurisdictions and cultures
An encrypted digital vault for financial, legal, and personal documents
Transparent family and advisor collaboration tools
Emotional features like legacy messaging to leave notes, videos, or final wishes
Unlike traditional solutions, Meerath is inclusive, culturally aware, and cross-border by design — built for the real world we live in today.
It’s more than software; it’s peace of mind for families everywhere. 💙
Does it integrate with banks and crypto wallets?
Not directly — and that’s by design.
Meerath prioritizes privacy and security, so we never take custody of financial or digital assets.
Instead, users can securely record and organize their bank accounts, crypto holdings, and digital assets in the app’s encrypted vault, along with access instructions and beneficiaries.
We’re working on future integrations with trusted partners (like Plaid and Coinbase APIs) to enable automated account syncing and asset value updates, while maintaining full user control and compliance with inheritance regulations.
How long does onboarding and setup typically take?
Meerath is designed to be intuitive and fast — most users complete setup in under 10 minutes.
Here’s what the typical journey looks like:
Create your account → 1 minute
Add your first members and assets → 3–5 minutes
Secure documents in your vault → 2–3 minutes
Generate your first will draft → instantly with our guided wizard
For families, shared setup takes about 15–20 minutes depending on the number of members and assets.
Everything is guided with smart prompts and progress indicators — so even first-time users can feel confident from the start.
