It's hard to believe that anything matters. It's hard not to believe that everything matters. I have to put blinders on to everything so I can focus on work as much and as long as possible. Then I have to put different blinders on to everything else to focus on my family for every other moment I have. It feels like the only way. It's hard. But I'm well-fed and dry and warm and no one in my...

Stoked on the timing. I hadn't had a need for this in a while, and was just looking to buy it this morning and learned I got to get the new and shiny 3.0! Looks dyn-o-mite!

This is great. I'll be managing some more people soon and this was a very nicely timed hunt. Good luck with the book.

I started using Woven a few months ago and it's quickly become my only calendar app. It's beautiful, works great, team is super responsive and working hard to create the best tool out there. I've tried so many other calendar apps out there, and this is the only one since Sunrise I've loved. And it's scheduling tools mean I can ditch Calendly which is cumbersome and a PITA. Definitely recommend...

This removes so many frustrations with other tools like this. it's annoying to show existing subscribers your signup offer, but to be smarter about it was really really hard. This makes it dead easy. And I love how it makes segmenting your email list almost transparent. We're able to get so much more data about our users, and have that info immediately applied to our email list. And as that...

First, I love short books. I love that this was designed to be read in about an hour or so, and that you can 'get' the whole story, the whole message, that quickly. This is a modern fable about the unknown. I originally heard it described as a fairy tale on the dangers of entrepreneurship and following your dreams... that stuck with me as I read it and whether it was the author's intention or...

@johnomarkid - Looks really cool. Something I noted: when I signed up for the email newsletter I got a confirmation. First, the confirmation button is hidden in the email (it's there, but it's white on white). Also, it's from your personal email address, which I didn't sign up at and the email subject and body say nothing about Caterpillar. You may want to make the From Name from Caterpillar...

This looks really incredible, but I'd love a version for the Mac. I don't typically conduct my interviews in person, so being able to do this same thing on the desktop would be incredible.

Pretty crazy to even imagine a physical device to capture digital content while submersed in VR. But makes a ton of sense.

Super excited about this. I stream comedy sets on Spotify all the time, but it's not really designed for the idea of a comedy album. I love this and can't wait to start listening and discovering more comics.

That video seemed like a tremendously laborious way to showcase a feature: that there are now Office integrations and links that open a meeting directly. I don't want to get notified during my runs of conference calls, and I don't need to see some company fly a plane to understand what a video conference tool is. How is this even a new product? Very confused. Maybe I'm not the target market,...

I read the previous version of this and loved it. Brett is awesome at not only covering the technical aspects, but the theoretical reasons to use Evernote. It helps you expand the what and why and how of using it like a pro. (note: I'm totally biased because Brett is a great guy, but I also totally loved Evernote Essentials).

Interesting product. Seems similar to some keyword research tools SEO and internet marketers often use, but friendly enough for the casual blogger. Helps to identify terms people are searching for so that you're not missing out on potential organic traffic because of semantics. Also, helps generate article ideas.

Very excited about this. My small (but distributed) team has always struggled with where certain information goes. If it's for a specific project, it ends up in Slack, or Asana. But if it's just company-wide info (like vacation policy) it may be in a shared Evernote, or in a Google Doc... and there's no clean way to link from one area to another... or to make a nice and simple TOC of all of our...

I thought this was a really cool idea. If we can begin to verify when a photo was created, we can start to trust certain images a bit more. From their announcement blog post: "As we all know, the Internet is a place where lots of fake pictures circulate, so you sometimes raise suspicions even if your photos are real – it’s not you, the whole Internet has a trust problem. We created Proofy so...

New product from Brett Kelly, the creator of Evernote Essentials. This is a weekly series to help you master your Mac. We've all seen people valiantly flying through their machine, hands only on they keyboard, switching apps and bringing up new ones, while ripping through those apps with complete efficiency. This is from one of those guys, who's awesome at teaching, and proven to be funny and...
