James William Bain is an attorney with experience in commercial and construction law. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 1972, graduating cum laude and becoming a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He continued his education at the University of Florida College of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 1976. He began his legal career at the Tennessee Valley Authority, where he led significant litigation efforts and managed complex legal matters. During his time at the agency, he was appointed to lead the damage analysis team in the Uranium Antitrust Litigation (MDL 342). This large-scale, multi-district case was one of the most challenging commercial antitrust actions of its time.
