Jake Luginbuhl is a history teacher based in Virginia who specializes in American History, with a focus on Constitutional Rights and Political Science. He has spent 12 years in academia and nine years teaching over 130 students each year. He is dedicated to helping students understand their civic responsibilities, rights, and the impact they can have in their communities. He has experience in behavior modeling, group instruction, leadership development, faculty collaboration, and peer evaluation. He works to create classrooms that encourage learning, foster respect, and support student growth. Jake currently teaches Social Studies at the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice in Bon Air. After starting in this role, he introduced classroom management strategies that reduced disruptions.
