Just tried it out, and this really useful to keep on top of security issues. Especially for those of us who aren't full time sys admins but have to manage that part of the server stack.

Interesting service. I was in the Philippines last year, and my cousin made an order to a takeout place via text. I went to go pick it up, not completely convinced that they would have the order ready. To my surprise they did receive the order :D Looks like this could have/has all the benefits of an online-ordering system, but I think the SMS as UI makes it even better

Nice! This should do wonders for durability. Have had a micro for about a month and it's showing some wear.

@meredithperry I'm excited about this. Other than charging, would this tech be viable for replacing power cords? I'd love to get rid of all the power cables behind my computer desk and TVs.

Looks like @23andwalnut is behind this. I don't know them personally, but have come across some of their other apps before. Although this one is free, with all the SaaS out there and a lot of business models trying to go recurring, it's refreshing to me how they go the other way. Some further reading about their thoughts about this:...

Came across https://growth-hacking.zeef.com/david.arnoux on twitter. A curated list of growth hacking stuff. Looks like a really useful place to go to when you're just starting off with something. Or curate a page and point to people to it if they ask about a topic/subject.

This could really help small restaurants handle busy times. There's a restaurant near me, where it's the just the owner himself doing all the cooking, waiting tables, taking take-out orders on the phone, etc. During busy times he seems to have a few other people to handle take out orders, but there's only one phone. Something like this could lighten the load a lot.

@rrhoover yup, saw uiFaces which reminded me about Facebox. I actually like uiFaces more for use in mock avatars, because they seem like they actually are people's avatars (so they fit better when using them in this case).

Came across this a while back, and used it for avatars in some product screenshots.

This looks pretty cool. This would make setting up contact forms on sites without a backend really easy (ie. Not using wordpress or writing a backend code to handle submits)
