I have been using a similar app called FlyCut (https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/flycut-clipboard-manager/id442160987?mt=12) for quite some time and it's been great. FlyCut previews the phrase to-be-pasted (shirt + cmd + v), and also it allows you to navigate through history while pasting (to select the right phrase). Not sure if Copyclip has these features but I find them very useful.
