Secrets of Sand Hill Road by Scott Kupor (a16z). https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/42348376-secrets-of-sand-hill-road I'm a first-time founder. The book was not only easy to read, but it was so insightful. It helped me understand venture capital from from a macro and micro level. Definitely recommend it to anyone who's thinking of raising.
What's the best book or blog you recommend to founders who are looking to scale their startups?

https://tinyask.co Tinyask is a knowledge community for ppl building nonlinear careers where users learn together through audio Q&As and tiny cohorts. We shipped a bunch of stuff but here are some highlights: 1. An updated, much cleaner homepage with audio answers ready for anyone to listen :) 2. Faster loading speeds 3. An 'invite to answer' feature

That the right institution you study at can exponentially increase your knowledge, expand your network and expose you to ideas, concepts and theories that help you break plateaus. But that's the exciting part of it - so work hard towards your goals, surround yourself with people who are 10x smarter than you and be absolutely ok with failing.
What advice would you give to your youngest self?

Using Twitter! I reached out to this PM on Twitter after reading her Medium post that got retweeted by the likes of Garry Tan. Because of that one DM, we were able to seed Tinyask with some early content and had people reaching out wanting to take our MVP for a spin. We've since made a lot of progress product and distribution wise - feel free to check out https://tinyask.co !

So much detail built into the product. Congratulations on the launch! Gamifying something that's typically mundane.

Great job creating this on Notion! I've been using Greg (https://greg.app/) and it's been amazing at reminding me to water my plants. Are you looking to eventually build a full-blown app with this Notion product as an MVP?

Kane and Abel by Jeffrey Archer. Read it when I was 13 or 14? The fiction was mind-blowing. The story was so masterfully told that I felt the struggles, ego and the victories that the characters experienced. Stuck with me ever since!

Monday mornings, I'd try to do a brain dump in a journal. That could include what I've been feeling, interesting stuff that I came across or ideas that I thought of. The important thing is to not filter, not worry about sentence structure. Just let your writing instrument connect with whatever that is on your brain. This helps in getting all the thoughts out of my head, onto a paper so that I...

Clearly define who you're building your product/MVP for - this was a game-changer for us as we're building www.tinyask.co. 5 months into building and having left our day jobs, we were speaking with potential users but it wasn't clear who we were building it for. But as soon as we sat down to define it, things become much, much clearer for us. Still a WIP but clarity has been night and day....
You have your MVP ready. Now what's next?
