It all started during my Southeast Asia trip last year. I was doing the usual tourist spots when a local friend I randomly met recommended this tiny caf in an alley. The coffee there was absolutely amazing. That's when it hit me - this is where the real joy of travel lies.
But usually, these experiences are hard to come by. Language barriers, not knowing where locals actually go... we all end up visiting the same tourist traps.
