Looks like this could be incredibly disruptive in the cable provider space. Lots of capital behind the concept of consuming free broadcasts and then reselling to users.... Big Cable is going to fight this like Hell.

@hijonathan I would love to look at what you guys are building, as the home page made it seem like it was similar to WalkeMe, Iridize, etc. I also agree that tool tips are band aids, and that we are dragging people over the 'product coals' (nice post btw)... but I work on an very large enterprise app that's 10+ years old with a relatively small team and to this point it seems like the best way...

@hijonathan love the idea, there is a desperate need for this type of app - we are POC'ing http://www.walkme.com/ right now... love to know how Appcues compares agree with @daveambrose about wanting to see it in action. WalkMe eats their own dog food and you can use the product to learn about the product... effective way to demo good luck!

Agreed @rrhoover, on top of that these are tough products to build. they require a lot of integration and reliance on 3rd parties - most of which are technical dinosaurs. Innovation is slow when you get bogged down by others. @TabbedOut is doing this as well as anyone, but I know they have had the same struggles....

Using this for awhile, great for early usability testing.

This might be old news... but I live in Austin where the service doesn't exist. Was in NYC a few weeks ago - now a huge fan. Nicer, more convenient than a cab, roughly the same price - with an almost gamified feel to the UX.
