The app is now version 1.10 It has more language support. New feature include code switching when having a conversation.

I am the developer of the app. Developed while travelling in Taiwan. It currently needs good internet connection to transcribe and translate. Ideally for listening to long talks and speeches like in lectures and conference. It can hear from more than 10m away as long it is loud enough.

This is the simplest offline text to speech app. It uses apple's text to speech engine. Just write or paste text and save your notes to play for later.
