Is WordPress still a good choice?
I’ve build many many websites for clients over the last 10 years. Over the last 18 months, it seems like people have stopped wanting WordPress. Web gone from a few projects a year down to zero. Alternatives have matured (Webflow, React + Headless CMS, TypeDream…) and developers want to work less and less with PHP and/or the WordPress framework. I’m curious if anyone else is seeing or feeling...
4 things I'm doing to validate my idea faster
Most of my tech experience is B2B high-ticket tech and/or services ($20k+ offers). I’m currently working on a low-ticket product. More like $50 p/mo. It’s a plug-in for web builder platforms like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify… 4 things I’m doing on to validate the idea: 1. I’ve focussed on 1 feature. It’s tempting to add more because I think it would make the product more desirable. But I know...
How did you come up with the initial idea for your product?
Did you identify a need from research? Was it a lightning bolt moment? A combination of the two? Something else? Would love to know.
How did you decide the pricing for your product?

I’m Henry, I’m new here 👋
Hi friends, I’ve recently joined and wanted to say hello. I’m Henry. I run a ~30 person dev agency and have taken the plunge into building my own products. I’m working on a few ideas that I plan to validate soon - very lightweight launches to see if there’s any interest. Any tips on how to get the best out of the PH platform and community? Thanks!
What’s 1 thing you did that allowed you to launch faster?
What would you change about your launch?
If you could turn the clock back and launch again, how would you do it differently?
What had the biggest impact on your successful Product Hunt launch?
I’m interested in hearing what single activity had the biggest positive impact on your Product Hunt launch. Asking connections on other platforms to support you? How you presented you Product Hint landing page? Your following on the Product Hunt platform? Etc.
What was the “hypothesis” for your MVP?
I’m interested to hear from real world tech founders - what was your initial hypothesis? The core assumption you wanted to test before investing more significantly in product.
What’s the best no-code tool for building an API?
Just joined this community, glad to be here. I’m working on a new product and could use some help. Would be great to hear from anyone who has used no-code tools for building an API. I know you can pull data from Airtable, but what if you want to manipulate that data quite heavily? Would appreciate any pointers on good tools for an MVP.
