I paid more for the flexible booking, with full refund and cancellation any time.
I couldn’t make it to my trip for personal reasons and I TRIED to contact hopper many time BEFORE the check in, even though I had the flexible booking. They didn’t answer me, I was abroad and they don’t have an email. Never got a reply from their chat or calls.
When I could finally talk to them, they didn’t accept my refund request because it was after the check in time. I have screenshots proving that I tried many times. I got my money back by requesting it from my bank. A few weeks later, I was charged AGAIN for the booking that I never used and I paid the extra amount to be able to cancel in case of any change of plans. Never booking anything through hopper again. Support is terrible as well.
