I'm Hagen, R&D lead at a medtech company in Munich — about 10 patents deep in imaging and patient tracking. By night I build indie iOS apps. My thing is personality. Apps have always been tools: neutral, functional, forgettable. AI changes that. You can now give an app a genuine character — a warm and witty radio host who greets you every morning, or a grumpy trainer who roasts you for skipping leg day. Not a chatbot. A persona — consistent, opinionated, and weirdly hard to ignore. That's what I'm exploring: what happens when software stops being a surface and starts having a voice.
