46elks is the best SMS and telephony API service I have used. It is not only dependable but also exceptionally developer-friendly. Their customer support is great and very knowledgeable (always a developer? at least in my experience.)
I have trusted their service for my projects for years. For example, for a product centered around SMS that needs to send thousands of messages to corporate users in a short timespan.
