Has anyone seen higher conversions by stopping outbound sales and going 100% inbound?

We had two full-time SDRs sending 150+ cold emails a day. The pipeline looked busy, but closed deals were painfully slow, and customers acquired through cold outreach had double the churn rate.

We stopped all cold outreach and shifted that energy purely into writing teardowns and technical case studies. Our lead volume dropped initially, but our conversion rate from lead to paid tripled prospects already trusted us before the call.

Have you ever killed an active sales channel because the quality of customers was hurting your business?

If an AI agent can build your MVP in a weekend, what's actually the hard part of a startup now?

Building used to be the bottleneck. Now I can get a working app faster than I can write a good landing page copy for it. So the "idea guy with no code skills" excuse is basically gone.

But almost none of my vibe-coded weekend projects have real users, and I don't think that's a coding problem anymore.

For those of you actually getting traction - what's eating your time now that building isn't the bottleneck?

🎯 What are modern marketing approaches that work?

Making a product is one big challenge. But shifting your mindset from building to marketing it might be an even bigger one.
As makers, we spend so much time improving the product. Then comes the question: How do we get people to discover it - and ultimately turn that attention into real customers and sales?
I'm not sure traditional approaches like email marketing and constantly posting on social media are enough anymore. The way people discover products is changing.
So I'm curious:

How do you approach marketing your product?
And for the marketers here:
What would you consider a modern marketing approach in 2026-2027? What would you advise an early-stage founder to focus on?
I'd love to hear different perspectives...
