Love this, one of a number of startups wrapping a really compelling and 'getable' proposition around a specific, on-demand insurance (instead of selling an old-school, bundled, averaged, and over-spec'd FS product).

I think this is magnificently cynical and clever. Exploiting a risk than feels high to people (dying in an airplane crash) but that is in reality microscopically tiny. Also selling life insurance without using the words "life" or "insurance" or asking people to buy a big $100 per month finance product. Unbundling life insurance.
