I was working on cracking problems on LeetCode and found the approach not helping me pick the intuition. Practicing problems did not help build solid understanding of the fundamental techniques to apply for different problems. I tried google gemini learning mode and started feeling good about it's helpfulness but over a long session, it tends to lose context and if you want to have a structured progress tracker, it got difficult.
Frustrated on hitting a deadend, I decided to write al.gorithm.dev that helped me build intuition to solving variety of problems while maintaining structure and helped me track progress.
Existing platforms often feel like a memory test—thousands of problems that just end up intimidating you. We built Gorithm because we believe developers should master the essence of algorithms, not just memorize solutions.
From day one, you’re guided by an AI coach that doesn’t just give answers. It nudges you with the right questions to build true intuition. It’s about learning to see the patterns so you can handle any problem, even ones you haven’t seen before.
