This is a great app. Not quite native on macOS, but much better than the competing apps that I've tried.

I'm super hyped to try this. Mostly because I'm wondering how you've solved the problems previous attempts failed at. Privacy, mobile consumption, revenue. Savant (2014) https://www.producthunt.com/prod... Atlas Recall (2016) https://www.producthunt.com/post... Apse (2019) https://apse.io

Long time 1Blocker user here, my excitement was dashed when I read it needs macOS 10.15. Why is that a requirement? Why is 10.14 not suitable?

Great app, highly recommended. Paid for it. Pros: Fast, small footprint on disc and in memory Cons: Can't use extensions like in Chrome SSB, no custom icons on High Sierra

I was a beta tester for this app and used it for a number of heavy and otherwise time consuming batch image work. One task was resizing hundreds of images from retina resolution to non-retina resolution; another was reducing the bit-depth and optimising the filesize of thousands of PNG files. These were all made easy with Retrobatch. Pros: Powerful, easy to use, fast, reusable workflows Cons:...

RetrobatchFlexible, super charged, batch image processing for your Mac
Retrobatch is a node based (not the JS language) batch image processor.
It's a bit like Quartz Composer, and Audio Hijack and even Automator. But for images.

So what happened to this? The domain name is gone and I can't find any references to people actually having received one?

There has been heated discussion in the Apple Mac community recently about Safari's lack of support for favicons where people might find them most useful: on tabs. It occured to me that an emoji could be used instead of a favicon on a number of popular websites and not look too out of place. So I created a Safari Extension that adds suitable emoji to the beginning of the page title so it...

I found the SpecOut website yesterday, whilst researching Wireless AirPlay Speakers—or lack thereof! Then I realised the site catalogues and compares specifications of numerous tech product categories. A real time-saver! They have an iPhone app (that does everything): https://appsto.re/gb/9IzYdb.i And an Android app (that only does smartphones):...

Gboard is a great keyboard. I'm iOS too, and I keep it installed alongside my favourite TouchPal, which is even better on Android than it is on iOS (where it seems to have been abandoned but thankfully still works). Anyway! It's TouchPal's swipable top and bottom rows, getting you numbers and punctuation respectively, that prevent me from switching to Gboard. Apple have also done something...

I recently created a Safari Extension that renders plain text Markdown files as good looking HTML right in your browser. I also added a context menu item so you can swap between the rendered HTML and the original Markdown text. Download: http://www.gingerbeardman.com/safari/Doctor.safariextz (25Kb) To install: double click the file after it has downloaded.
