Coale. Private space for couples

Anyone who s done long distance knows that after a while, FaceTime and texting just start to feel like scheduled status updates rather than actually living life together. We built Coale to fix that. It s essentially a shared little apartment on your phone where you and your partner can simply exist together. Instead of just messaging, you can build and furnish a virtual room, tackle playful daily chores side by side, sync up music and reading in real time, leave sticky notes on the fridge, and challenge each other to quick games. It s designed to bring back the effortless, everyday connection that miles tend to take away.

We re growing fast, actively shaping the product, and would love your honest feedback to make this truly special. Our waitlist officially opens this November 6th at coale.app, followed by our web release on November 16th, and then rolling straight out to iOS and then Android. Take a look, let us know what you think, and help us close the distance.
if you head over to our product hunt page, there is a promo code that allows you access to the app while we work on your feedback.

what you should know

Coale is a special project aimed at bringing couples together. I happen to be in a long-distance relationship and know how it is. Coale is a way to bridge that cap and make the distance somehow bearable. We are still growing and appreciate the feedback.
At launch, these are some of the features to expect;
1. Calls (audio and video)
2. Chat
3. two player games (tic tac toe, chess, battleship, connect 4, couple quiz)
4. reading room (shared library where you can read a book together. the reading itself is independent, but you can both see the progress)
5. music room (listen to music together)
6. drawing room (sketch or doodle with your partner)
7. cinema (watch youtube, a video you have on your device or share your screen to watch your favorite show together)
8. oasis (here's a private household that you and your partner can make your own. do chores to earn coins that you can then spend on upgrading your house)
9. shared calendar (you can even put a proposed activity here, your partner can see it and when they accept it, it is entered into your calendar)
