This is a common concept for civic hackathons. It raises some very interesting questions that I believe are good points to discuss as a society. The question I'm most interested in is if one of these will gain popularity.

If this were always listening while charged it'd be a killer product. Unfortunately... I don't see it doing well as is.

I like the concept, but I ran into two issues signing up: Checking one "Contact me if..." box initiated an endless alert loop. The second attempt to register it logged me out mid-experience form. Perhaps another day. Good luck guys!

I don't get all the negative reaction. Are hair stylist starved for attention and grateful their customers grace them with some menial chit chat?

5$ seems pricey for a single hour long episode, but Louis has the clout to pull it off. I love that he is so willing to experiment with different distribution models.
