I have been using the aDirectory plugin for several months, and I am genuinely impressed with its features and potential. I've successfully created multiple niche directories that were previously underserved. With various monetization options available, there's ample room for growth. Additionally, the support provided has been instrumental in helping me progress.
What needs improvement
The current process is functioning well, but I would greatly appreciate more templates and examples, as well as video tutorials on how to configure the various modules.
vs Alternatives
I have used various plugins before, but with ADirectory, I discovered that they address gaps that others overlook. Their emphasis on providing effective solutions while minimizing the learning curve was particularly important to me.
How flexible are the custom fields and field types?
They are sufficiently flexible to meet my needs, enabling me to assign various functions to each of the custom fields I utilize.
Does the monetization work well for paid listings?
At this stage, I am focused on building the brand and maximizing the usage of the platform for the business. My future plan includes activating the paid location feature once the platform gains recognition. I am pleased that this option is available.
How well does it handle jobs, classifieds, and events?
They are easy to set up and appear exactly where they should.
