We have utilized a laser to vaporize the epoxy within carbon fiber to make it flexible in very specific locations. The first application of this technology is on wallets, but the sky is the limit as Common Fibers works to utilize this technology on more advanced applications such as bikes, skis, cars, and airplanes!
