I’m Francisco, founder of ModusBill, billing software built for law and accounting firms. ModusBill turns recorded time, flat fees, retainers and expenses into invoices clients can pay online through a secure link, with no portal or password needed. For law firms: matter-based billing, IOLTA trust ledgers that can’t go negative, an uneditable audit trail, three-way reconciliation and LEDES 1998B export. For accounting firms: engagement-based billing, scheduled recurring fees as reviewable drafts, and two-way QuickBooks Online sync.
