I've been using SetApp for more than a year and I have to say, it's become one of my favorite services. I was skeptical about an app subscription service, but did the math and for Ulysses, Screens, and a few other must-have apps, it was worth its price. To my surprise, it has actually become even more valuable, as I discover apps I wouldn't have otherwise used -- like Expressions and TablePlus...

I've been using CMM for the last decade and the new X version is great. I also recommend MacPaw's SetApp subscription service b/c it includes this app and lots of others. CleanMyMac X has some nice improvements, including the app updater module. The new UX is slick too. Great work MacPaw! Pros: Great uninstaller, new updater built-in. easy way to manage system tasks Cons: None
CleanMyMac XKeep your Mac clean, fast, and secure in two clicks.

It's just commentary now (with a link to an ESPN page that doesn't work in the US), but I think this is a good sign of what we'll see when the NFL streams start this fall. And that's awesome.

So Mashable was obsessed with this until we think our tweets about it killed it. But it's fun. I'm @christina obvs

There has been a lot of drama in the Apple community regarding a blogger going by the name Samantha Bielefeld and much of the discussion has taken place on Twitter (in tweets now deleted), in Slacks and in private conversations. We thought it was important to talk to two people who were involved in the situation about how it happened and why it's problematic for the community -- a community...

Amazing stuff. If there can be user scripts for Growl/OS X notifications, this is golden.

I'm all about spending money on a remote. Heck, I've owned at least 5 >$200 remotes over the last 10 or 12 years. That said, I can't get on-board with this because it doesn't seem to offer anything over the Harmony Ultimate.

I like the idea of this a lot. A whole lot. I backed MailPilot on Kickstarter back in the day (still have my mug!) and I've spent a fair amount of money on various Gmail-to-Mac "wrappers." I'll say what I said to the Gmail for Mac guys when I spoke with them briefly: I'm concerned about the name. I think the name is a major problem - even more than some of the interface stuff. I don't think...

This is similar to the Apple Checker site that was up last year, but expanded to other retail outlets. I'm sure there is affiliate linkage going on, but frankly, this is so useful, I say good for the creator!

I love this and cannot wait to use it for my own rent this month. Seriously, going to the bank to get a cashier's check (long story that has to do with how checks are deposited in our building) or me writing a check is just ridiculous in 2014. Love it. Love it.

We are testing/using Namely right now. I'm not sure on pricing, but I like the apps. The only thing that annoys me is that I'll get "update" emails that just take me to Namely that I have to actually login to see. But that aside, the platform is quite good, at least from the employee side.

Really great user experience and a GREAT app. I'm always so impressed by NPR's tech prowess. Even in the early days of the app stores, NPR was consistently one of the few radio providers (forget about public radio) who had a robust native and mobile web solution available. I really like the direction of this app and look forward to seeing it evolve. Great work NPR!
