I build and evaluate RAG and retrieval systems.. right now mostly around making retrieval and generation something you can actually inspect and measure, not just trust. I work on LLM evaluation at Huawei and I'm doing an MSc in AI Research at UNED on the side. Lately I've been deep in hybrid retrieval, reranking, and benchmarking.
