I'm designing a referral program for my hosting startup. Is 10% in product credits enough?

I'm currently working on a referral program for my hosting startup, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it worthwhile for both creators and the business.

Here's the model I'm considering:

Creators get a free server for one month to test the product before recommending it.

Each creator gets a personal promo code. When someone makes a purchase using that code, the creator earns 10% of the purchase amount as hosting credits.

Building a Telegram Mini App taught me something about authentication

I've been building a Telegram Mini App recently, and one thing I've spent time on is making sure the backend doesn't blindly trust requests coming from the frontend. It's tempting to assume that because someone opened your app through Telegram, the request is legitimate. But the frontend is still just a client, and requests can be modified. For my project, I started testing what happens when authentication data is missing or modified, and whether protected endpoints reject those requests properly. It reminded me that a working login flow and a secure login flow aren't necessarily the same thing. For developers who've built Telegram Mini Apps or similar embedded apps, what authentication mistakes have you encountered, and how did you catch them during testing?

Building a Hosting Platform Inside Telegram. Looking for Developer Feedback

Hey Makers!

I'm currently building FEX CLOUD, a hosting service that lets developers deploy and manage servers directly through a Telegram Mini App. The idea came from a simple question: what if you could manage your infrastructure without constantly switching between hosting dashboards?
We've built the core functionality, including server deployment, configuration management, billing, and resource monitoring. Now I'm trying to understand how useful this approach would be for developers working on Telegram bots, APIs, and small web applications.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:
