Building wellness tools for desk workers

About

I'm a database administrator with over 10 years of experience, and I also develop desktop software focused on wellness and productivity for people who spend long hours at their computers. I'm currently working on BreakFitUp, a lightweight desktop application designed to help office workers develop healthier habits during the workday, starting with simple hydration reminders. My goal is to create practical, distraction-free tools that will run silently in the background and make a significant difference over time.

Breakfitup SaaS Dashboard - A smarter way to stay healthy while working

BreakFitUp is a new preventive wellbeing platform designed specifically for modern desk work. Combining a synchronized desktop app&SaaS dashboard that adapts to how you actually work. Instead of interrupting your workflow with rigid reminders, BreakFitUp understands context:Focus sessions,Meetings,High activity moments and dynamically adjusts how and when wellbeing interventions appear. The goal is preventing the physical and mental damage caused by long screen hours, before it becomes chronic.

BreakFitUp - Not a workout app.Not a reminder.Prevention for screen work.

BreakFitUp helps people who work long hours at screens build healthy habits during the workday - through guided micro-stretching, eye relaxation, and hydration reminders. It's not about fitness challenges or calendar alerts. It's about preventing fatigue, tension, and sedentary overload in a realistic, non-intrusive way. Designed for real workplaces.

Hi Product Hunt community 👋 I’m Fernando, founder of BreakFitUp.

I m building a small but focused software to help teams improve workplace wellbeing through smart active breaks short, guided moments that help reduce stress, fatigue, and sedentary habits during the workday.

The idea came from my own experience (and from teams around me) spending long hours in front of a screen, knowing we should take breaks but rarely doing it consistently. I wanted to create something lightweight, non-intrusive, and actually usable in real work environments.

Right now, BreakFitUp focuses on things like hydration reminders, guided stretches, and short exercises that fit naturally into the work flow especially for remote and desk-based teams.

I m here to learn from the community, get honest feedback, and connect with other makers who care about building healthier products and teams.
If you ve launched a B2B or wellness-related product before, I d love to hear what worked (or didn t) for you.
