The team at @GrainHQ just dropped a TON of new features and capabilities. If you talk to customers frequently, interview candidates, or just have lots of video calls (um, everyone?), using Grain is like gaining a superpower. With Grain, remote meetings are better than in-person - it really has been a game-changer for us.

This book is brilliant and hilarious. I thought I'd bring it home for my kids, but it's provided everyone who walks by my desk loads of entertainment, so it's never made it home. It's the perfect addition to any product team library, right next to High Output Management.

I've been thinking a lot about this problem - sharing and collaborating on iPython notebooks, tracking changes, keeping analytics code up-to-date, etc are all big pain in the ass problems. Curious to see how the product evolves.

Anaconda is the easiest way to get started with more sophisticated data exploration and ad-hoc analysis against your production and analytics data stores without complicated environment setup. I've replaced a lot of my previous "write query, dump CSV, visualize in excel" workflows with iPython notebooks and basic python code using the Anaconda distribution.

YC is so much of an outlier on every dimension, it's not fair to even call them an "accelerator".

I don't think I've ever seen anyone rank companies by the number of people interested in working there. It will be interesting to see how new fundings, press, etc drive changes in the leaderboard.

@emieljanson I think the comparison ends skin-deep. Our core value proposition (smart contextual notifications throughout your day, automatic daily-adjusted step goals) is fundamentally different than human (30 minutes of movement every day).

@adamsigel We don't have the details of what yet, but building out a valuable and fun social experience is an important part of our medium-term roadmap.

@ethans_g great question! for now we are laser focused on building a great user experience in the app. There is no API access at launch, but like our RunKeeper HealthGraph, we will be building it in the future.
