Hello again PH! I m Fernanda, long-time PH member, founder, and indie hacker, though I have been away for a bit. Recently, I co-founded Midspiral, an R&D-driven company where we re exploring better ways to program with AI. I m working on it with a brilliant Harvard CS professor, and we re focused on solving the core frustrations devs face when working with tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Replit, Lovable, etc.
We're tackling some inherent flaws in these systems. Our overall vision is to empower people to innovate entirely at the product level (features, UI, UX, etc) without having to approve or make coding decisions, because the system will take care of creating correct, efficient, performant code by default. We truly believe in the concept of metaprogramming.
