Hey everybody, I'm Misha - I live in Seattle with my beautiful girlfriend and our six stuffed animal kids! Before I started Expatria, I worked as a software engineer at a startup called Cedar AI. I didn't always work as a developer though - I graduated from college at 20 years old with a Bachelors in Political Science, interned for a Congressman & worked in software sales for a year and a half. I was inspired by my mentor who had successfully taught himself to code a couple years back and tried to follow in his footsteps through my 'choose-your-own-adventure' software apprenticeship. I've recently written a travelogue about China called Journey to the East; Post-COVID China & am developing a card game.

10x Software Engineering Card Game - Have fun with friends & prepare for technical interviews.

10x is the multiplayer card game for software engineers - like Gwent, but for Cyberpunk. It's a fun way to prepare for technical interviews, as it uses the same muscles in the brain to work on similar problems, such as checking whether a string is a valid anagram. The difference is that this is actually fun; additionally, it is my hope that this can become a replacement for technical interviews as we know them today. Why spend time on CoderPad, when you can play a round of 10x instead?
