Can i record something at a URL and have a coworker go to that site and see my recording?

I'm kind of confused. From the marketing material, I got the impression that I was annotating directly onto a live URL, but it seems like it's just taking a screenshot or recording. Is this true? In which case, how does it differ from all the other screen recoding tools, like CloudApp, which is what I use to annotate.
