Great news and best of luck to the creators. I'm one of the creators of StatusNet and OStatus. We've move a lot past that standard and the new ActivityPub is coming soon from the W3C. I hope you get a chance to look at it and implement it.

@ross Thanks for coming to PH for the launch. I've been a beta user for a while and I like the product a lot. I think I've been a difficult user to on-board since I don't use personal note-taking apps a lot. For me, the social aspect has been the most important. How well has the app done with users who aren't dedicated notesters?
