I'm Evan, a software engineer and indie hacker building developer tools. I'm currently building **GitDesktop**, an open-source, cross-platform Git client that brings Git, pull requests, code review, issues, CI, releases, and optional AI into one desktop application. Before GitDesktop, I built **Dispatch**, a webhook routing platform for developers that connects services like GitHub, GitLab, Stripe, Slack, and others. I enjoy building tools that solve problems I've personally run into, with a particular focus on developer experience, local-first software, and giving users control over their tools. I build in public and enjoy talking with other developers about the things they're building.
