This is such a no-brainer for me. I have been working in the start-up world for a long time, always surrounded by VCs and angel investors, but never quite having the wealth to get in on the deals that they were. Now, I am able to expand my own portfolio and invest in some exciting start ups. The model makes sense too as a long-play investment vehicle. The longer I stay with the platform, the lower my risk profile and the higher the chance of one of my portfolio start-ups going bananas!
I considered crowdfunding platforms before this, but found it to messy and time consuming for the amount that I am investing.
