I was obsessed with getting a short domain for one of early startups. I could not believe I had to go for a 5 letter Dotcom as all the 3 and 4 letter remotely related were gone! It was an open source rating and review platform that used smilies / emojis before they were common. I wanted something related to emotion / expression and ended up with a phoneticβ¦ emotf.com π€·ββοΈ. I never really liked it,...
What's the weirdest domain name you own or used to own?

I thought I just saw my own startup π³! https://ascenda.one but I see Nora is a little different. Keen to check it out. Congrats on the launch guys! Definitely a deserving space that needs more attention and talented solutions.

Looks really nice! BTW: curious about the meaning of 'Kee' or 'keeso' is it just because it's a short name you could get or does it have a deeper meaning? just curious π€

Over the last months I've been toying with the idea π€ of how our emotions and energy are affected by our work (and vice versa). To test some theories I adapted a Chrome Extension I'd built for another purpose to link to Coda to record my activities. A few iterations later... here it is a complete productivity system from to-do, time tracking, insights dashboard to weekly checkin. It's free - I...

What am I good at?
What should I do more or less of? What should I outsource?
Time tracking can go beyond time/cost basis to uncover more insights. For this reason I built a no-code productivity system assisted by AI to help gain these insights.

I'm a coder... so writing is something I would rarely do. I've started to write more. Post more. Comment more. Why did it make me better? I got to talk to customers, understand their needs, how they speak and words they use. How did I acquire it? writing every day.
What skill made you a better maker? And how did you acquire it?

Hi Rosie, congrats! (and Orbit looks awesome!) Have you experience or can you point me to successes in community building for non-profit / environmental projects? I've just submitted https://GreenHabit.app in the PH makers festival Earth Edition but looking at the best way to grow a community around it. There are a lot of passionate people wanting to make a change. I want to enable them through...

π± GreenHabit π€ - Take Individual action for collective impact π GreenHabit's goal is to make visible the small individual actions and changed habits people make and at the same time encourage others to follow by doing the same. The premise is that by committing to a change publicly these changes are more likely to stick; and that one small change multiplied by thousands is not insignificant....

Build products that you yourself need and would use. Build in a domain that you are familiar with and have particular expertise in. The fringes and overlaps of your area of expertise and some other domain are where the opportunities are.

I'm working on π± GreenHabit (upcoming) for Makers Festival. A conversational π€ that acts as your personal accountability coach to make your new green habits stick. πLesson learned: Read the docs! π© The API for FB messenger was acting pretty odd for a while, I thought I knew the issue and then kept trying different experiments... but turned out the bot was working perfectly, I just needed a...
