Why Is "Perspective-Shifting" So Crucial in Content Creation?

As someone who's worked for a long time in both the "content creation tools" and "educational content" industries, this is a question I get asked all the time.

The answer is both simple and complicated.

Generic OCR fails on SEA documents. We built an AI that actually works.

TurboLens today announced a major upgrade to DocumentLens, its AI-powered document intelligence platform. With the introduction of a new Document Parsing capability and a deepened focus on Southeast Asia, DocumentLens is now one of the most powerful solutions for businesses handling the region's complex documents.

This enhancement introduces a powerful duo of capabilities:

  • Document Extraction: Intelligently pinpoints and pulls key data like invoice totals, customer IDs, and line items turning messy documents into structured, database-ready information.

  • NEW Document Parsing: This brand-new feature digitizes entire documents with high-accuracy OCR,  making every word searchable. It is the perfect tool for digital archiving, compliance, and preparing data for LLMs.

The DocumentLens Advantage: Specialized for SEA

Stop retyping teammate reminders meet Slashit App Snippets 🚀

One of the most frustrating parts of managing projects? Constantly reminding teammates about pending input. It s repetitive, distracting, and eats into focus time.

We built Slashit App Snippets to solve exactly that.

Here s how it works:

  • Save your go-to reminder once (like pending input )

  • Assign it a shortcut (/pendinginput)

  • Use it instantly in Slack, Email, Notion anywhere you work

You built It. It’s great. But will AI ever recommend It?

Lately I ve been thinking a lot about how we discover new tools and solutions. Not just Googling stuff.

I mean when you ask ChatGPT or any other AI:

What s the best CRM for startups?

Bluesky Overhauls Community Guidelines and Policies

Bluesky is implementing comprehensive updates to its policies and community guidelines, driven by global regulations and user feedback, with a focus on improving user safety, clarity, and community standards.

Key Takeaways

  • New guidelines organized around four principles: Safety First, Respect Others, Be Authentic, and Follow the Rules

  • Introduces an informal dispute resolution process, allowing direct phone conversations to resolve user conflicts

  • Addresses previous moderation challenges by providing more detailed policies on content moderation, hate speech, and user conduct

Stalk your ex, your boss, and your customer

Hey everyone,

We've added some new things to Pally, and we'd love your thoughts!

  • You can now 'star' people, and then Pally will continuously 'stalk' them and let you know if something important happens in their life.

  • We've dramatically improved search. Frankly, it now works, before it was awful. If you were let down by this in the past, we'd love you to try again.

    • If you've given access, you can also search over all your iMessages and WhatsApp conversations. I personally love this.

  • We have an iOS companion app, so you can use Pally on the go.

  • We've added a 'network wrapped' so you can see some cool data about your network and how social you are.

Nice, looks like the context length has increased quite a bit. Up from 250k I believe!

A story about a small, obsessive detail in the AI pen's charging case.

Here s the story behind a small detail in the @Flowtica Scribe's charging case. You don't often see "rapid iteration" with hardware, but the core principle of obsessing over the little things is universal.

A simple realization sparked this feature: since the Flowtica Scribe is a real pen, users will face that classic moment of "ink anxiety." A spare refill is essential, not just for practical needs, but for peace of mind. During development, dozens of refills were used, which reconnected the team with the simple joy of pen-on-paper writing.

Hey Product Hunt!

We just published a deep dive into one of the most deceptively tricky parts of modern developer infrastructure: webhooks.

Launching Dance.ai — Your AI Dance Coach

Hey Makers!

I m Rohit, a software engineer + dancer building something I wish existed when I was learning choreography...

Introducing Dance.ai an AI-powered dance coach that teaches you choreography, gives real-time feedback.

What It Does:

Keeping up with AI - the only way to survive?

Im going to be honest here - I had a little breakdown a while ago after I happily and very excitedly watched a friend explain his job to me. He is a AI only designer for a large agency.
After the call I couldnt believe what I had seen... it was so far beyond my experiences with Midjourney and Chatgpt, then after about 24/48 hours my brain started going nuts and the reality set in with a basic message: your job has NO future.
So the choices were (once my 48 hour freakout was done):
1. get with it (and learn and see where it takes you)
2. be the person that builds it
3. fall over and die (accepting my fate)
4. look for a job AI cant replace
So I made my choice, I would do a combination of 1,2 and 4 and thus this morning at 6am, my alarm went off, made a coffee and started spending an hour learning Javascript and soon JSON to facilitate parts of 1 and 2.
I self hosted N8N and Deepseek as well ready for learning and researched a few options for #4.

So wish me luck, ive tried coding before and never had any interest but hopefully this time it will be different as I have moved to a more process driven methodology in my life over the past decade.
(bit of a plug, but follow me on twitter or bluesky for more titbits of useless information)

Hi all, I’m prem Analyst from 9-5 productivity from 5-9, love to connect with like minded people ☺️

I m new to app making and have no knowledge of app building. However, I have a creative mind and would love to utilise AI to build some productivity apps. I ve already built a LinkedIn AI optimiser that provides detailed information and suggests how to optimise a LinkedIn profile. Link : https://v0-rankup-ai-web-app.ver... What is the best Vibe Coding tool so far? Bonus points if we've never heard of it!

I might be missing some but I've been pretty much in love with @Lovable, @Cursor, @bolt.new and have been trying to use @Replit more and I honestly haven't touched @BASE44 too much but have heard good things. @chrismessina has nudged me to use @Windsurf for whenever I build another Raycast Extension!
Currently I use:
- @bolt.new / @Lovable
- @Cursor
- @Warp
Curious what everyone thinks is the top one so far!

Is every new product “AI-powered” now?

Lately it feels like every new launch has an AI layer built in and it made me wonder:

- Is it becoming a necessity because AI can do so much, so fast, that users now expect it?

- Or are we overusing AI as a buzzword?
