I have set it up for a client earlier this year, and it was a breeze. The team was super helpful, and Iβll definitely use it for my own app (when I get around to actually finishing the thing).

How is DynamoDB not "serverless"? It's pretty much "the" original "serverless" DB! And what schema restrictions does it have? Edit: Oh! The primary and sort keys and the restricted property names!

It seems indeed very cool, but isn't wireless charging extremely inefficient (compared to wired) Because then we'd be... wasting of a limited supply of energy?

So... fund and enable one of banking's most hated, widespread and doubtful practices while helping people? I both do and do not get it.

How can (curated) information be unbiased? I mean, it can't possibly be holistic. Simply choosing what to report induces an inherent bias. You got me curious :-)

The effect, when it moves, is soooo uncanny. I can see the perspective and the 3d, on a single screen, showing only one picture. Also made feel a little sick. But it's awesome!

Stumbled upon a Guardian article on this (https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/feb/14/elon-musk-backed-ai-writes-convincing-news-fiction) and first believed it was some kind of fake or prank from either OpenAI or the Guardian, or both. It now seems very real. Maybe it doesn't belong here because it has't been released? I'm not really used to posting here... Edit: also, for those...

OpenAI GPT-2Language generation & comprehension deep-learning model
Trained on 40GB of text, this is the latest language model from OpenAI.
They haven't released it yet, but it's capabilities seem impressive.
It can both generate contextualized text from a "seed", and answer questions on full text. An amazing feat to behold.

I've been using the Serverless framework for over two years, starting back when it was still named JAWS, in pet projects (online chess microservice), side projects (a mobile app's backend), proof of concepts, and two SaaS products. All but one where deployed on AWS. It works great. Pros: Deploy to many providers Create, update, configure lots of resources Forget AWS console's UI Fast & great...

Reminds me of Jasonette (https://www.producthunt.com/posts/jasonette). How does Glide work, from a dev's perspective and under the hood ?
