I’m building an AI-native back office for high-earning independents like fractional executives and solo consultants who are running consulting businesses but don't have the infrastructure to match. I am currently living through this problem, which is where the idea sparked. Most of us are juggling spreadsheets, invoicing and payment platforms, tax confusion, and suffer from a lack of benefits. We left full time jobs for the freedom but we are now living with a different kind of friction and uncertainty. Solodesk is purpose built to automate and simplify the financial and operational side of solo work: invoicing, payroll, tax planning, and forecasting, all in one place, and built to run itself in the background.
