Big Envoy fan. So excited for this product!

This is really fascinating. Podcasts have had too few ways to monetize. This is in contrast with China, where the podcast market is much larger--and advertising is a smaller share of its cash. A lack of data is also a big challenge. The big podcast apps so far don't give a ton of data, though Spotify is a competitor here. Very cool. Thanks for hunting, @hnshah!

I feel personally attacked

This would probably be better if it was more curated wiki-style. You can't even suggest a failed startup, let alone edit their page. Pros: Very cool idea, with lots of startups. I like that it covers things like media. Cons: The analysis is pretty light. It answers the question "who" more than "why".

Someone is going to do something with this data. But it will take more than this. Insurance rates are very different than what people actually pay. You need to have a good way to figure it out. That's just not here. Pros: They gathered all the CMS mandated hospital spreadsheets in one place. Cons: Doesn't even take short codes and turn them into something comprehensible.

Hololens is super cool and I'm excited to see how this space evolves. Pros: Looks like an awesome advance on a very high powered piece of tech. I also like the industrial and creative focus. Cons: Will all depend on the dev tools. It's also so much more expensive.

It was only a matter of time before there was a thispersonisnotreal.com for a unicorn. Now do Uber. Pros: Pros: find your next non-NVIDIA vacation spot that is also a meme. Cons: Honestly not seeing the downside here.
