Running meikuio. Building Meiku Charts.

About

I run two sites. meikuio.com is the main one, a tech site where we publish reviews and comparisons of AI tools and software, plus news and explainers on cybersecurity, gadgets and future tech. There are over a hundred articles so far. We read the pricing pages, help centers and terms so you don't have to. meikucharts.com is the second one. It started with our own articles: the numbers in them change after publication, and a screenshot of a chart can't change with them. So I built Meiku Charts. Paste your numbers, get an animated chart or a live table, embed it with one line. No signup to try it. You can also ask Claude or ChatGPT to build the chart for you through a connector.

How do you decide which customer feedback is actually worth acting on?

We ve had customers suggest completely different things and sometimes the loudest request isn t necessarily the most important one. If you try to build everything people ask for the product can quickly become messy. I m starting to think repeated feedback from different types of users is a much stronger signal than one customer asking for something very specific. How do you separate useful product feedback from requests that only make sense for one person?

🏗️ When your startup becomes a company, will you keep building?

If you plan to grow your startup into a big business, the path can look something like:

You build - launches - get users - join an accelerator - raise money - find investors - hire people - build a team - grow the company...

And at some point, I wonder:

Are you still the maker who builds the product?
