Notion, Obsidian, and Roam are great, but they re not for everyone. Maybe you found something simpler, faster, or just less overwhelming. What s the one productivity tool you actually stick with the one that makes life easier instead of adding more work?

Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are: (1) launching soon or recently launched (2) looking for beta users (3) asking for feedback on a landing page First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post. Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help.

Remote has been on the rise for years, but Covid has forced all companies to adjust to it over the past few months. I'm curious to know: 1. What tools are indispensable for your team to get work done? Which do you love the most and why?
2. What tools/rituals help your team still feel a sense of togetherness / build culture?
3. What are the biggest missing pieces to your remote team toolkit, or things that cause the biggest pain points? I'm compiling all the results and will share that publicly (and on PH of course). The more data and opinions, the better!

This is a generalization of course. But do a quick Google search on this topic and you'll see a bunch of articles on this topic with a number of reasons why. I'd like to know your personal issues with task management apps. What type of work do you do and where do these apps help vs. get in the way?
Hi everyone! I've been working for the last three months to start my own SaaS business and finally, I made it. Just started to form a team and we're 4 now and we do not expect to grow more than 10 people for the upcoming 6-12 months. It was easy to manage everything until now with WhatsApp groups but I need a team management tool to get everything more organized. I checked a couple of tools but they seem pretty much the same. So do you have any suggestions on which tool to use? Any suggestion or comment is welcomed. Thanks in advance!
Hi Makers! Post your product in this thread if you are: (1) launching soon or recently launched (2) looking for feedback on your landing page
(3) looking for someone to beta-test your product and give feedback on the product before launch I believe in giving before asking. Start by helping someone who have posted their product, help them with their question, give a suggestion, write a review or a comment on their launch page. Once you have helped someone else out, share your product link here and clearly state what kind of help you need.
I'm working in the tech for 12+years, mostly remote and being productive has always been an issue. From my experience what works the most is: - Define precisely my tasks, and keep it as small as possible (1h max)
- Work with 100% on this tasks
- Take regular breaks - and stop working after 4/5hrs of deep focus
- Sleep and eat well I keep all tasks in a bullet journal, it's not perfect but I haven't found a better way to do it.
(I'm building in public one product to solve this right now. Not sure how efficient it will be ) What about you? What worked for you? How about
Hey, all!
There are many productivity tools out there offering different features. But I still haven't found one that covers everything I want. To me, the essential features a perfect tool must have are: - A good text editor ( I mean, I love notion. But why is it so hard to bring the text there to other formats? Sometimes I summarize some things inside notion, but taking them to an actual doc or pdf is so painful!) - Simple, minimalistic design - A good place to have random thoughts and things that I need to get done without losing sight of them - Good integrations!! I use Gcal a lot, so I would love to have a productivity software that actually integrates with it. What about you?
