What's great

project management (1)meeting scheduler (1)reporting (1)workflow and bpm (1)

We use EspoCRM as the central app for client- and project-related data. It stores our contacts, deals, project tasks, notes, invoices, and custom records. My team logs meetings and activities there, workflows handle routine updates and reminders, and managers run reports straight in the system. Because we self-host, we control backups, security rules, and where the data lives which was a big deciding factor for us.

The system offers deep customization and intuitive, simple interface. The community and support are very responsive and practical; when we ran into questions, people on the forum are genuinely trying to help and suggest a solution

What needs improvement

We haven't experienced any major issues or problems with the software. Since EspoCRM is so customizable and there're so many tools for that, it can take a bit of time to configure every part of the platform for your needs.

vs Alternatives

I needed a CRM that would be customizable to our needs and easy to integrated with other tools we use. After comparing it with other solutions, we decided it was the best option for us.

Are there native integrations with marketing automation platforms?

EspoCRM has official integration with Mailchimp and can be connected with other marketing automation platforms through Zapier and Make.

Does it support GDPR and data residency needs?

Yes, the software fully supports GDPR and data residency requirements since it can be self-hosted.

How does it handle case management and customer service?

You can create and track customer cases directly in the system, assign them to team members, and monitor progress through different stages. Each case can be linked to a contact, account, or lead. Automated workflows make it easy to route new cases to the right person or send status updates to clients.
