Great cheat sheet that I wish I had read earlier - this isn’t some ReWork or fluffy startup stuff. Real thinking from a great operator who has been doing stuff for a while!

I'm a loyal Warby Parker eyeglass customer. So I'm excited about this, but think value / pricing needs to be re-examined. I currently use Walgreens for my Contact Rx prescriptions and find the prices to be somewhat comparable. Flat pack contacts are somewhat more efficient for travel, but I don't know whether I'd bother compared to my 1-Day Acuvue Moist (as @cardine18 said).

My hot take: I think it's actually smart for Patagonia to make the price point high-- it's evn more of a Veblen good this way. (A Veblen good is something which demand increases as the price increases, because of its exclusivity and appeal as a status symbol). I've been lucky enough to be on the newsletter since issue Exponent 0. Along with Benedict Evan's newsletter and a daily dose of Techmeme, I feel reasonably informed without having to drink from the fire hydrant.

Everyone has a ton of photographs on their phone. I never get around to sharing them. Sharalike makes it super simple to create slideshows with music (Straight out of Compton sounds perfect when playing in the background of my preschooler at the beach). Full disclosure: I'm an advisor to Sharalike because I like what they're doing...

I've had a chance to meet the management team of this company and I'm a huge fan of this company-- in theory, it's a commoditized good. But in practice, you realize the huge difference in their offering. It just works. The fact that Envoy just raised $15M (announced today) to do office sign-ins shows the interest in the space.

I'm a huge fan of this app-- and I was worried because I recently purchased the software. Was all set to have to write a pleading letter, but it automatically suggested an upgrade because I had recently purchased. Well done, MacPaw.

Love what these guys are doing- had a chance to hear their pitch. Super impressive.
