Medium or custom blog?

I'm thinking about to start creating content for the company blog and looking at what is the best way to do - use medium or create own blog. With medium, I can start almost immediately and it's already SEO friendly. Or make an effort to develop own. Has anyone come across this issue? Can you advise something?

[Idea validation] Team Lead as a Service

It's not a secret that one of the most common reasons for startup failure is development in general. It can be revealed in the choice of the wrong technologies, a premature decision to build an infrastructure that will withstand a large number of users, a weak team, or an insufficiently experienced CTO, or, perhaps, all taken together. I very often heard from friends that they do not like working on a project because of incorrect setting of tasks or a bad process and constant over time. And I understand them - the company may not always have enough resources to hire an experienced person who can choose the right technologies and build the development process so that the business achieves its goals as quickly as possible using minimal resources. And so I got an idea launch project called Team Lead as a Service. The idea is to provide expertise in the development and team building on-demand on a fixed price. This is our landing teamleadasaservice.com Looking for feedback and if you need advice or consultation just go ahead and book an available slot for a call.

What's the best way to host a newsletter?

I'm running a newsletter related to my main project but it lives alone. What is the best way to host it?

My marketing tactic. Week #1

Foreword 3 weeks ago I've launched Marketing No More. I was inspired by Brett's Designjoy and decided to do marketing on subscription for SaaS. Simple idea, simple price. After doing some customer development I realize that it will be too complex to provide 15+ services because products on different stages need different approaches. And I decided to niche down and start with a small simpler service blog ghostwriting. And in this series of marketing tactics, weekly I share describe actions I do to attract customers. My global marketing strategy is simple find a repeatable and scalable growth channel that returns $2 or more for every $1 I've put in. Week #1 Right now I am at a very starting point on a mission to get my first customer and will do a manual thing that doesn't scale cold outreach. I've started with simple numbers for the upcoming week: 10 Twitter DMs per day; 10 cold emails; 3 twitter threads per week; 1 micro project in 2 weeks to boost traffic to the site and build an email list; Here are some numbers I got so far: 421 users, 595 sessions(GA) 2 newsletter issues 263 newsletter subscribers(9 unsubscribe) Sold 3 sponsorship posts This number I got from the launch of the first micro-project 100+ Best Marketing Threads. The next one is already a work in progress, but I'll an announcement later(will be about newsletters). That's pretty all with the plans for this week. See you in the next one

What analytics service do you use and why?

I'm trying to choose a service for event-based analytics to use in pair with GA and wondering what are you use in your project and why?

The perception of marketing is broken

Foreword This post may sound like a little bit of self-promotion, and to some extent it is. Originally I've written it as a manifesto for my project Marketing No More, but the idea that I want to convey should be responded to by indie makers. The perception of marketing is broken Some founders think that they need only to get a product of the day on PH, some that they need SEO because it`s free and it scales or that they need a strong Twitter and LinkedIn account to sell. But what you really need is to find a repeatable, scalable growth channel that returns $2 or more for every $1 they put in Drago Bulugean, founder of archbee. Marketing turned against you Marketing is an integral part of any business, but often it becomes a stumbling block and the cause of its collapse. Now the noise level is so high that it becomes difficult to get attention, and it is not enough to sometimes post a little content here and there. Sometimes founders resort to the decision to do marketing weeks or marketing days, but this may not be enough either. Instead of figuring out how to find keywords for the next blog post and thinking about how to get that new spike of traffic, you should focus on what you doing best building your product. And you deserve the right tools and services you can use to do so. That's us, that's Marketing No More. We're fixated on marketing automation You are on a way to finding a growth channel that returns $2 or more for every $1 you put in and we can`t do it for you, because your product and your vision are unique. But what we can do is provide a set of tools and services you can use to find this channel much faster. We`ll help you get there. Here you can check what I'm trying to build marketingnomore.com
