I spent years as a Business Analyst, and the pattern never changed: a great one-hour requirements / process workshop / interview, followed by days of typing it all up BPMN diagrams in one tool, BRDs in another, Sequence Diagram in a third, AI chats in a fourth. Different versions everywhere, and stakeholders waiting on documents instead of decisions.
